Proceedings Volume
The 4GEO|2nd edition offers the option of submitting an original full paper after the conference. The selected contributions that pass a thorough peer-review process will be published in a special volume of Springer Series in 2027 or onward. Soon, more details about the special volume will be available.
Deadlines: Short Abstracts and Full Papers
After the Conference, the authors will have the opportunity to submit an original full paper (free of charge; open access is optional) for publication in the Springer Series.
1. Submission of an original short abstract with the title (provisional), authors, affiliations, and a short text (250 - 500 words) to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
2. The accepted abstracts must be submitted as a full paper manuscript (15-25 pages) before 15 December 2026. Please download the Springer Series template here. The peer review period, supported by the Scientific Committee, will run from December 2026 to July 2027.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
During the submission process, the authors must choose between the following main topics:
• Georesources and Geoenergy
• Geomaterials and Geotechnics
• Geotechnologies and Geo-Innovation
• Geoenvironment and Geohazards

Key dates
February 28, 2026
Abstract submission
The short abstract should be approximately within 250 to 500 words (title + authors + affiliations)
December 15, 2026
Full paper submission
The submitted original full paper manuscript should follow the Springer template and be 15-25 pages long, including figures, tables, and references.
December 2026 - June 30, 2027
Peer review process
The peer review process will be supported by the scientific committee.
